Peña Mancero Abogados (PMA) announces the opening of new office in Barranquilla

Legal services provider Peña Mancero Abogados announced today the opening of its new office in Barranquilla.
Known for being the “Golden Gate of Colombia”, Barranquilla has a port infrastructure comprising more than 20 port concessions and a dozen terminals in one, which allows transport of all types of cargo to the rest of the country and the world.
The practice in Barranquilla will be led by Jaime Tello, who has over 25 years of experience and will strengthen the firm’s foreign trade practice area. Jaime is also an arbitrator with the Chambers of Commerce of Barranquilla and Santa Marta.
“Barranquilla is one of the most important hubs in Colombia and probably the most prominent and developed city of all the Caribbean region. Our office in this city provides us with a unique opportunity to serve both Colombian clients wishing to expand internationally and foreign clients who wish to do business in Colombia,” said Daniel Peña, founding partner of the firm.
The opening of a new office in Barranquilla continues the firm’s expansion trend since its joining Alliott Global Alliance, the international network of accounting and law firms with presence in 95 countries.
