New Appointments Strengthen Latin American & Caribbean Regional Committee

Alliott Global Alliance (‘AGA’) is delighted to announce the recent appointment of lawyers Gabriela Mancero and José Cruz Campillo to its Latin America & Caribbean Regional Advisory Committee.

AGA is one of the largest and fastest growing global multidisciplinary alliances, with 220 law and accounting firms operating out of 300 offices in 95 countries.

Gabriela Mancero, Partner at Peña Mancero Abogados in Bogota, Colombia, and José Cruz Campillo, Managing Partner at Ulises Cabrera in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will serve maximum five-year terms which became effective 1st January 2024.

The alliance’s regional committees form an important part of AGA’s governance structure by representing the members’ interests and views in their respective regions and by driving forward the region’s strategy in consultation with the Board and Executive Office team. AGA now has law and accounting firm representation in 16 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Gabriela Mancero comments:

“I am delighted to have been appointed to the Latin America & Caribbean Regional Advisory Committee. Our alliance continues to appoint high calibre, independent professional firms that offer a wide range of expertise to domestic and foreign clients operating in Latin America, the Caribbean and in all other main world regions and I am excited to have the chance to contribute to the next chapter of the alliance’s strategic planning.”

José Cruz Campillo said:

“This is an excellent opportunity to help develop AGA’s strong presence further across Latin America and the Caribbean and to be an advocate for the interests and views of our AGA colleagues across the region, developing recommendations and strategies effectively and collaboratively into 2024 and in future. It is an honor to have been appointed.”

Danilo Mininel, Chair of the Latin America & Caribbean Advisory Committee, adds:

“In 2024 and beyond, we will be continuing our focus to expand AGA in Latin America and the Caribbean, and I am therefore delighted with the appointment of Gabriela and José who will be instrumental in supporting our development targets for the region. These appointments reflect our continued commitment to ensuring we have the right people on the team to help move us forward over the next few years.”

Giles Brake, Alliott Global Alliance’s CEO, concludes:

“Our alliance in the Latin America & Caribbean region has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The appointment of these two talented and committed lawyers to the committee will further the alliance’s ambitions in the region and help us to reach the next level. I look forward to working closely with Gabriela and José in the years to come.”
