Technical session on freedom of expression in social networks

Our partner Daniel Peña Valenzuela was invited by the Constitutional Court of Colombia (office of Judge Natalia Angel Cabo) to the technical session of experts in the case Esperanza Gomez v. Instagram.

It was decided to convene this virtual technical session considering that the case (a writ of protection filed by a model against Instagram) is novel, may have an impact on many other users of the social network, and is related to various issues such as corporate law, freedom of expression, equality, and the prevention of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
